Cactus and Sowing Soil
6 L
Description
Kekkilä Cactus and Sowing Soil is a special product for cacti, succulents and palms as well as for sowing.
Cactus and Sowing Soil contains more sand and is less strongly fertilised than ordinary flower soils.
Instructions
Unlike many other house plants, cacti do not require to be replanted in new soil every year. The best time to replant is spring. After replanting, begin watering the plant, lightly at first and gradually increasing the amount in April-May. At this point, the cactus may also be fertilised almost as much as other house plants. In summer, cacti prefer a hot and sunny site and should be watered and fertilised in the same way as other plants. Use less water and fertilisers as the autumn advances. From October to March, store your cacti in a cool place with very little or no water.
Use your Cactus and Sowing Soil immediately if possible, or store cold away from light. Nutrient loss occurs due to the influence of time, temperature and humidity.
