Description

Kekkilä Decorative Stones White Gabbro are a great way to draw attention to details of your garden and to make dark-coloured garden items such as pots stand out. In Japanese gardens, white stones symbolise water, which makes White Gabbro ideal for creating little "rivers" in all Japanese-style gardens.

When used as mulch, Decorative Stones control the growth of weeds and help the soil retain moisture.

Instructions

When spread to a depth of 3cm, one 25kg sack covers one square metre, while a 550kg sack covers approximately 15 sq m.

It is advisable to use a mulch mat under white decorative stones to avoid contact between the stones and soil. The upper surface of stones can be kept clean by gentle raking. Decorative Stones absorb heat in the spring sun, providing protection for frost-tender plants and those with roots near the soil surface.

White Gabbro is crushed rock with a particle size of 5–12mm.
