How much water should be added to the peat when loosening the bales?
When loosening the bales water should be added 10-20 liters per XL-bale and 200-300 liters per Maxi bale. The addition of water aids the formulation pf peat granules and it is necessary for obtaining the optimal out-turn volume of the peat.
